We have stood by as the world ignored and shunned us for what we are but no more. We will no longer stand back in the shadows and let the world dictate who we can and cannot be. We are the shadows that will no longer stand idly by as our world is taken apart by the seams. From this day forward we stand up for what we believe in. We will go forward with the power of the dark as our strength. We go forward with the helping hands of our brethren at our back. We are the Children of the Dark. I have waited in the shadows for the one who will bring me to the light...
I am trapped in the darkness and my heart is breaking...
There is no one here with me in this dark place where I live...
My heart is hollow and the shadows have invaded its place...
In the darkness, I hear the steps of the one who will be my darkest love...
Love floods my dark soul and fills me with light...
I see my darkest love before me and I rejoice...
He chases the shadows away and holds me to his heart...
I am no longer alone and in the dark...
He has brought me to the light and filled my hollow heart...
